They Shall Grow Not Old

Visible through the crowds, and lit in a sombre orange light, The Cenotaph, erected in 1919, stands as a beacon of remembrance to the fallen of two World Wars. 
But in particular, yesterday evening when these photos were taken, in commemoration and gratitude to those who gave their lives for King and Country. 
Image 2 shows Her Majesty’s wreath surrounded by those of the Prince of Wales, the Dukes of Cambridge and Sussex, and uniquely, the President of Germany. 
Picture 3 is a close up of Theresa May’s handwritten tribute on her wreath.
